For his small city pied-a-terre, our client still wanted to be surrounded by nature. We created an indoor garden in the center of his apartment, which brings a great sense of spaciousness & serenity in the midst of the bustling city. The way the greenery walls are displayed and lit, gives the impression of a real garden and a perfect sunlight illusion.

Our design intent was to recreate paradise in the middle of this confined high-rise apartment in order to remind our client of the tropical places he fell in love with while on surfing trips (Sri Lanka, Bali, Hawaii…). We conceived a floating garden with hanging ferns and vines, as well as Dendrobium orchids with long flower spikes.

We find that being surrounded by nature amidst city living brings a real sense of luxury — we’re especially proud of this project as it makes perfect use of minimal space and adds a lot of depth to the place.

What a dream in the big city!
