In 2024, Mingzhu Nerval teamed up with Studio Precht to transform the central courtyard of the Albanian Government building in Tirana into a vibrant 3-dimensional garden for the Prime Minister.
The vertical landscape transforms the unused courtyard into an icon of growth, health, and vitality. At the same time it facilitates meeting space for the community and hosting events, blending architecture, ecology, and symbolism into a dynamic venue.

The garden’s structure by Studio Precht features an open wooden framework that supports multiple layers of planting—trees, vines, and hanging foliage—creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. This design not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also fosters biodiversity and a sculptural sense within the governmental complex.

Inspired by Prime Minister Edi Rama’s artistic sensibilities, the garden serves as a living canvas that reflects Albania’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and cultural expression. It stands as a testament to how thoughtful landscape design can enrich public spaces and inspire those who experience them.
