An expedition in Yunnan

2021-08-12

Yunnan is a province in southwestern China with a varied landscape encompassing snow-capped mountains, rice terraces, lakes and deep gorges. The region is known for its large number of ethnic minorities and is also extremely rich in biodiversity, making it one of the hotspots for conservation priorities in the world. Due to its diverse topography and climate, Yunnan has the highest plant diversity in the country. Luckily, some of our team members had the chance to explore this region that is so rich in species and vegetation types. We hope that more travel and bigger expeditions will be possible for us again soon!
